Another great book from the Harry Potter Series, but I can’t expect anything less! Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was heartbreaking. The ending shattered me, I knew Dumbledore was going to die, yet I was still surprised when it happened. I have to say the books go into so much more detail than the films ever did! I was glad to see that we finally got that Harry and Ginny moment that we needed! Only for it to end at Dumbledore’s funeral, as Harry said, Ginny wouldn’t be safe and would be targeted by Voldemort if he knew.

We also finally start the process of hunting Horcruxes! As seen when Harry and Dumbledore find “Slytherin’s Locket” or should we say the fake locket that was placed by the mysterious RAB, I have a feeling I know who that is, it’s been a while but I’m almost definitely sure that’s Sirius’s brother Regulus.

Overall 4/5 star book!

Ci sono opinioni contrastanti su questo sesto volume. Per me è uno dei più belli e anche forse quello su cui ho versato più lacrime. Ora vado a prepararmi per il gran finale.

“It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.“

This book progresses into a much darker, elaborate plot, which can be expected as there have been many events in previous books leading up to this point and the main characters are older. Although I’ve watched the movie so many times before, the book gave much more insight into Tom Riddle’s background and how everything with that plot line has come into fruition. I loved how much more time Harry got with Dumbledore and everything he taught and showed him. Although the ending was not new to me, it still hurt all the same and was much worse in the book. Snape’s betrayal, Harry’s warnings about Malfoy, the Ministry, the subplots with Lupin and Greyback, the Horcrux, just everything. Everything was so well written and planned out perfectly to lead up to the last and final book.
