I really enjoyed the eerie theme park setting of this novel but that might be the best thing about it.
This was NOT a bad book. But once I finished I realized I definitely was not the intended audience.
We follow a group of YA social media influencers who have been invited to this remote theme park island by its owner so they can help spread the word about this brand new park to get people excited for its opening. Once they get to the island, sinister things begin to happen and people start to go missing. What is happening and are there more people on this island than we thought?!
The reasoning of the killer seems pretty far fetched but again, that could just be me.
For me, this was a 3-3.5 star read.
For the proper audience I could absolutely see it being a 4-4.5 star read.

Overall I liked this book because the plot was interesting and not basic. There were many plot twists and the main ones near the end were intended to be unexpected but I predicted them which was a bit annoying. I didnt really like writing style and the ending was just ridiculous considering there’s no sequel. I recommend for new readers of crime. Or just 7 year olds.
