This is the first time I have read someone being described as a troll doll, funny!

Most of the characters were lovable but had their own issues. I wasn't a huge fan of Riven,
twice he refused to hear the other side of the story. It almost got Daisy killed.

I wouldn't call it Insta-love, but the FMC fell for them rather quickly. It's already an unconventional way of dating, so when love comes so easily it tends to make it feel undeveloped.

I appreciated how the author gave each MMC a decent amount of time with FMC. Some harem romances tend to focus on one MC and let the others sit in the background for a chunk of it.

There are a lot of errors in the digital format, mostly grammatical errors and repeated phrases.

‘Why choose’ romance with forced proximity. Lily Gold’s books are maybe a smidge formulaic, and for me the mystery around Daisy’s disappearance was dragged out for a long time.

Super spicy and very sweet relationships though.

This was so good I read it in one day.

Read for:
- snowy atmosphere
- why choose & forced proximity tropes
- diverse love interests
- unique conflict
- HEA

Characters: 9/10
All three love interests were diverse and had their own voices. We had the light-hearted playful guy, the intelligent guy who values honesty, and the grumpy outsides hurt insides guy.

Atmosphere: 9/10
I loved reading about the Swedish landscape and weather phenomenon.

Writing: 9/10
Easy to read, funny and emotional.

Plot: 9/10
I love a forced proximity romance, and why choose, and this combines all three with some great conflict.

Intrigue: 10/10
I read this in one sitting

Logic: 9/10
Everyone behaved pretty true to character.

Entertainment: 10/10
I loved this. Surprisingly emotional for a why choose romance. Definitely recommend.

Total rating: 9.29/10

Daisy flees to Sweden to escape [spoilers here] and finds herself staying in a cabin with three Swedish men who like to share everything, including sources of tragic backstory.

I think Gold has created a cast of wonderful, likable characters whose interactions are distinct and believable. The sex scenes were well-crafted, especially the multi scenes, which can be hard to coordinate. My particular favorite character is Eli, who is the emotional core of the trio of male love interests.

My investment in the backstories of the other two male leads was more limited, due to their (the backstories) late arrival into the book. The non-sexy parts of the book were also a little thin, without just taking the plunge and removing them altogether. Specifically, I'm thinking of Riven and Cole's non-sex scene characterizations.

Overall, this book was well-written, with sizzling chemistry between all the leads and well-crafted sex scenes, but also good humor. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a reverse harem romance with no alpha MLs.

I think this is my favorite Lily Gold story. I loved the different men and how they interacted with one another. Daisy is such a spitfire and has a very unfortunate story so it was heartwarming to read about her finding a home and people she is comfortable with. Not to mention the spice was fantastic! 10/10 scenes that left me wanting more (and in true Lily Gold fashion she did not leave me hanging for long). I would highly recommend this reverse harem. There were a few areas where I think some grammar issues were missed but I read it for free so I didn't get hung up on them.

Lily Gold writes her characters sort of all the same. A woman sorting her shit out, a fun, flighty man, a quiet, calm man, and a brooding tough guy with a cinnamon bun heart. That said, even though I’ve now essentially read the same book 4 times, I liked all of them. Fluff/dark/smut. Probably good for getting out of a reading slump.
