Very fast paced, terrifying look into the mind of a sadistic rapist and someone who enables him.

I think there was a lot of good about this book, it was genuinely terrifying and disturbing to read.

I did find that the way it was written, the lack of quotation marks indicating speech for example, made it hard to understand who exactly was talking during certain points. But other than that it was definitely worth the read.

Nauseating, bleak, and filled with anguish—reading this felt like being trapped in a horrible, inescapable trance. I found myself questioning why I empathized with any of the characters, yet the story remained strangely fascinating. The vulgar, misogynistic language was so extreme it made me want to throw up.

Searing and Visceral.

As with her previous work "Hurricane Season," her new book "Paradais" is one of a kind fiction. Narrower and more concentrated in its scope, it tells how two desperate teenagers came to rape and murder the entire well-to-do family.

Violence and evil accumulate and burst open at one-go.
