Eve is a total badass! Her time with Jaime and Rory were actually my favourites, Rory in particular. Adam and Garrett's relationship with her was cute but I loved the push pull with Rory and her being an actual human with Jaime were the best. Safe to say she was the star of the show and the most alpha of all the alphas!
I see the next Kathryn Moon book in this series will be Faith and is out this year. Something to look forward to.
This series is crazy and utterly smut filled and truly addictive! Off to look for similar like KU books now! :D

Bad Alpha by Kathryn Moon was such a fun dip back into the sweetverse. Alphas being soft and sweet, alphas being strong-willed and challenging, omegas who are so much more than a writhing pheromone bundle... Three-dimensional characters throughout in a believable setting. This book brings a full story while leaving you wanting more and, what do you know, there's more to be had in this world. While I doubt I'll ever read a novel more than Lola and the Millionaires, Adam and Eve stood on their own

I love how Kathryn Moon writes! I can’t get enough of her characters and the adventures she puts them through! Absolutely tickled pink that Faith will have her own story.
A little obvious who the villain was but character development of the pack outweighs the predictability on that front!

2024 read:
couldn’t tell u why I love this series so much but I do so here we are again
2022:
I fuckin love this book. The characters are so good and the banter is genuinely funny to me. Great story, way more plot than the other books in this series if you're into that (just the right balance of plot and romance for me tbh).
The ONLY thing is there's a moment of dubious consent - not regarding sex itself, but bc this is ~omegaverse~ there's a moment where someone bites someone else and they didn't ask first. It ends up being fine (not that that excuses it, obviously) but it's bugged me a bit both times I've read this. Doesn't REALLY take away from the enjoyment of the story for me personally but just kind of left a weird taste in my mouth so. 4 stars instead of 5.

Wanting to get to this book was actually the reason I started reading the Sweetverse and it didn’t disappoint. This has easily become my favourite book in the series! I loved all the characters and the way they played off one another and I particularly loved Eve and Rory 😏. I know there’s another book before Faiths but my temptation to completely skip it is so great.
I’ve been craving a try badass FMC for a long fucking time and this book hit all the right spots and scratched my itch perfectly. Eve was an addictive and intriguing character from the get-go and getting to see how her bonds with the other members grew throughout the book was such a fun ride.
This was really a breath of fresh air because I didn’t really enjoy the last book and was getting kind of fatigued with the series as a result. I’m firmly in it again and I just hope the next book doesn’t do me dirty before I get to Faith’s.

Unlikable cast
There was nothing I liked about this book. Eve is the worst character ever and I finally closed the book at 20% in absolute disgust. I feel so bad for Adam. The three other alphas were barely introduced, but I’m sure they were nasty as well. I think the cameo of Lola and her guys was a nice visit and I didn’t like her much either.
