I knew going into this one that it might not be my favorite because honestly, I just don't love reading about dominant women. I like my guys alpha, and my ladies sassy. But after meeting Eve in Lola's book, I really wanted to learn more about her. Ultimately I'm glad I did because I liked her & the pack she grudgingly formed, even if they were definitely the most unique omegaverse pack I've read about to date. Yes, I was correct that A dominant woman just isn't my cup of tea, but I did really like Eve regardless. Her evolution from the start of the story to the end was heartwarming but also believable. She didn't become less herself; like Adam said, she started to give MORE of herself, and that was key.

Not my favorite from Kathryn Moon. It was a little hard to love the FMC. I’m a softy and denying a omega makes me sad
Who doesn’t want to be Eve? If you want to continue to fall in love with the sweetverse characters, you have to read Bad Alpha!! Great story line and just the right amount of smut
“The reason I glittered was because I was formed under extreme pressure. I was a diamond and equally unbreakable.”
It was extremely long but so enjoyable! Kathryn Moon has a gift of making her characters so lifelike and detailed and nuanced.
I love Eve and how tough she is and her development to loving.

Decently written and I liked that the typical roles were flipped with Eve being the main alpha in this story, but overall I didn’t feel the characters were as well developed or individual as in Lola’s story. Adam was a bit annoying and didn’t have much too him, Garret was nice but again not much background or development to him or Rory, Jamie was the only one I warmed towards properly.
Moderate: Gun violence, Sexism, Sexual violence, Torture, Violence, Trafficking, Murder, Injury/Injury detail

The narrator who played Adam & Garett (Julio Maxwell) (imo!) sounded like he was better suited for reading poems or prose. He had a sensual lilt and I found their narration style ill suited for the characters.
Besides that it’s still another banger in KMs Sweetverse. More action than Baby’s & Lola’s books & I like that.
