Okay I DEVOURED this book in one sitting haha I forgot how much I love Kathryn Moons writing and the omegaverse! This was such a different dynamic from Lola and Baby’s harems. Although I found Eve infuriating at some points, I absolutely love the idea of a female alpha and the complexities of that. Eve was a rollercoaster of a character to say the least
Leaning more towards a 2.5. Enjoyed the steam and the crime fighting, but wasn’t the biggest fan of the mc. Took me a bit to finish, was just a bit too long for me. I didn’t have any strong feelings one way or the other and almost dnf just cause I lost interest. Definitely a darker vibe, the mc is very emotionally detached and I think that dampened the effect of the book for me. She was just very unlikable, I believe she was supposed to be but it didn’t hit for me when the other characters would excuse her behavior.
