This series quickly became my Roman Empire. I knew from the first book that I was going to fall in love, I knew by this book one of the pivotal points for the NEXT book. I did not hate that I figured it out, either. Because the writing was so exquisitely done, and the story was so captivating. I adored this, from beginning to end.

Kingdom of the Cursed picks right up from the ending of book one. Emilie is still on the hunt for clues of her sisters murder but now the location has changed as she is traveling to the 7 Kingdoms of the Wicked with the ever secretive Wrath. The story is enthralling at every page and the little plot twists make you not want to put the book down.
I enjoyed this one soo much. This was a strong sequel that has taken the story to a much darker and sinful directions that I hope continues with the series. Learning more about the different kingdom’s representation in the different vices is fascinating and full of hidden secrets and magic riddles is 🤯. The romance and angst between Emilia and Wrath is everything I have been wanting.

There is nothing more dangerous than a woman who owns who she is and apologizes to no one.
No existen las palabras necesarias para describir la crisis existencial que tengo después de haber terminado este libro. Nos vemos en octubre, cuando reviva para leer la conclusión de esta trilogía del diablo.

“I wondered what it would be like, confidently owning my body and sensuality, neither apologizing nor simpering to anyone.”
