This is one of my favourite childhood stories, it was a big part of my Christmas every year and I absolutely love it. Every time I read it, all of the memories and happiness from growing up comes rushing back. I 110% recommend this story to everyone and anyone, in winter time, it's especially amazing due to the lack of actual 'Christmas' aspect, and so can be enjoyed by children of all religions and is not just a Christmas book.
There is really nothing else to say other than, once again, I love, love, love this story and the artwork is great and the childhood feels are everywhere.

I have the picture book but I listened to the audio book, which includes descriptions and the music from the film. It’s just like watching it on the telly but in your head.

I was not that familiar with this book when I learned of the death of author Raymond Briggs. I also found the movie version of this on Amazon Prime.

Pretty good wordless story book about a snowman. The art was very good and the ideas were quite clever. But the movie, which I was exposed to first was better - possibly due to the music.

A charming wordless story, although somewhat sad. I was a bit concerned over how my son would take to the ending, so we kind of quickly brushed over it and moved on to the next thing. I remember seeing the animated version of the book, and I had pleasant memories from it.

Definitely a favorite---we pour over the pictures. The flying scenes are a favorite, and it is a great one for a big brother to "read" to his little brother since he feels free to make up the words.

I love wordless stories... they encourage such critical thinking and imagination. I don't know if I ever actually read this- just saw the animation; but now that I have, it's lovely- even with the drawing style not being my favorite.
