ARC received for honest review:
Oh those Significant Brothers.... Davies has done it again with this sweet tale of nerdy forensic analyst Dustin and photographer Leo. I have a soft spot for nerd characters and I was in love with Dustin from the start and Leo was just icing on top of hunky southern gentleman piece of cake! I like how the story is sweet without being sappy and just spicy enough to make be blush a little.

Prince Charming

This was like a fairytale. Leo was truly Prince Charming. I like how he just loved Dustin and didn’t care about labels. It was just so sweet.

Nothing like getting straight to business, in the bedroom for the main couple. I adore Leo and Dustin. There is something about this series that I just laugh all the time and these boys were no different. It’s a fun series that has strong couples that fight together instead of with each other. Leo and Dustin don’t have it easy, but at the same time have a sweet time together. They both have relationship hang ups that keep their communication from being the best. They have to work on it and they do. They work together and don’t give up on each other when they need to be a couple the most.

I just adore the way E. Davies’ writes and worth every book I read I find myself loving his work more and more.

Greg Boudreaux does a fantastic job, and I just love him bringing this series to life. I could listen to him all the time!

This might be my favorite book of the series so far.
I loved that Leo thought one thing but when he meet Dustin he just knew and he didn’t fight it.
He took it in stride and thought ok so I like both I can deal with that now let’s figure out how much I like this awesome guy.
I love that they worked in the same department, and how they fought for each other.
Another great book.
Good narration too on to the next!

I always enjoy an E. Davies book, his books are always fun and flirty but have substance. You get a peek into a new point of view and you get an enjoyable ride with it. This book was no different and I easily fell into this world again. So much snark and sweet balanced with the sexy sweet that is signature Davies. One more Significant brother has met his match and had a lot of laughs along the way and several sexy times to boot! E. Davies is always an immediate one click for me and this was no different.

3.5 stars for the story (B-)
4.5 stars for the narration by Greg Boudreaux (A-)

Another low angst love story about a group of friends since high school who call themselves the Significant Brothers (which is explained in every book). In this book Dustin, a forensic specialist with the Nashville Police Dept meets Leo, a newly hired on crime scene photographer. They meet when Leo wanders into a gay bar unawares and steps in to help Dustin fend off an unwanted admirer. Leo doesn't quite understand the spark of attraction, but with an ease that feels unreal, decides to go along with it. From there, it's a lot about Dustin's mistrust of himself and others, and Leo trying to figure out how to be a romantic partner due to his lack of experience (with men or women). Dustin's a little spiky, but Leo is a cinnamon roll and the interactions are sweet.

These books are great palate cleansers between more emotionally demanding books, and I appreciate them for that, and for the lovely narration by the very talented Greg Boudreaux. There was one thing that sort of got swept under the rung that bothered me, but this is definitely a spoiler, so be forewarned.
SpoilerLeo and Dustin are confronted by HR for their relationship, saying it's a breach of the rules. However, it's stated at least once that it really isn't strictly against the rules, and they are being singled out because it's a queer relationship. It's said there have been several m-f relationships and a few marriages in the department in the past. So here's the thing, the entire process could have been shut down with a "how about I contact the ACLU to help me figure out if the rules are being applied fairly." In my opinion, legal action is what they could and should have done, instead of some vague "they're going to look into" whether the so-called rules are being applied correctly.

I truly adore the sweet couples who come together with kindness and love. Dustin, being the sheltered member of the significant brothers, was bound to break free and follow his own heart - which he did. Thankfully the man who captured his attention was careful and methodical, taking care to show Dustin every ounce of love. Loved it!

This book is adorable. I think Roman and Oscar are still my faves but Dustin and Leo came close.

There's very little conflict in this, just Leo's dawning realisation that he's attracted to Dustin and feels more for him than He's felt for any woman he's dated in the past.

His gradual admittance that he's bisexual is done without any dramady, he's not conflicted over his feelings, just worried he won't live up to Dustin's previous experiences.

But Dustin has more awareness than that, he's beginning to come out of his own shell, a little bit self imposed and a lot to do with how the Significant Brothers are so protective of him.

It's lovely to watch him grow in confidence as his relationship with Leo progresses and this is just all round a really sweet romance with a wee bit of spice in the 'bedroom' (not always in the bedroom though ;) )

Will put a smile on your face.

What I love about E. Davies romances are that they are always feel good, fun, funny and always have a happily ever after. Some days you just need the sweet. This author never fails to deliver.
