I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Things didn't go quite how I wanted them to, but I was very satisfied with the result. There was a huge plot twist at the end that I absolutely did not see or like, but I still, overall, loved the series.

Not the book to read in the middle of the coronavirus. There's another virus here and as they race all over the world trying to find the cure, it gets a bit technical and political. Loses some of the allure from the first two novels.

Good conclusion to The Conspiracy of Us. I gave it 3 1/2 stars that I rounded up to 4. My main dings were for plot points. While I understood the ending, it seemed to happen really fast and without much reflection later by the characters. There is a major twist at the end and it just seemed a little glossed over.

One aspect of the book I especially liked, was how the romance was handled in this book. While I don't agree with the morals, I appreciated that the love scene in this was handled "off screen" so to speak without details. As a mom, I appreciate the author not following the crowd these days in young adult who seem to think it's okay to put blatant pornographic love scenes in their books geared to children/teenagers. So, THANK YOU!

All in all, this is a fun, Da Vinci code type book for teenagers. It's filled with action, adventure, some sci-fi, and romance. If you're looking for a fluffy fun book with action, high fashion and where money is no object, you might enjoy this series! Kudos also to the narrator who did a fantastic job capturing each character and all the various accents!

This was a perfect ending to an amazing series. It has been a long, LONG time since a book has grabbed me so much that I've wanted to ignore all my responsibilities just to sit down and finish it, but that's exactly what this final installment did. While I'm not giving it five stars - there are some flaws, and some things that did annoy me - this series was precisely what I needed to remind me how much I do truly love picking up a book (or my Kindle, in this case) and sitting down and reading for hours at a time. And oh, the romance in this book. I think I was making heart eyes every single time the characters made them at each other. And let's not forget that this book is also action-packed, with adventure and high stakes front and center. All in all this is a fabulous series for anyone who likes treasure hunts and spicy romance. I seriously could not have asked for more from this last book, and am just sad that my adventures with Avery, Stellan, and all the rest have to come to a close. ♥
