Its incredible how thoroughly this book's universe was illustrated in so few pages when certain other SFF authors drone on for hundreds of pages and still don't do as good a job! Just goes to show quantity is no substitute for quality - Benjanun is the latter, pure quality in every page. Read this book, and then read all her other ones.

this unlocked my understanding of short stories lmao but also just in general i love sriduangkaew's worldbuilding it always feels dense and lush without being overwhelming.
