wrote this review in my notes app as i read the book so it’s scattered. hate HATE the concept of an Up tattoo being sexy. will 100% be stealing the romantic gesture of singing annie’s song though Lol. i dearly hope no one ever makes a star wars reference to me in bed bc what the fuck was that. and maybe it’s because living in london would be MY dream i hate hate hate that she gave up moving to london for him. also cannot STAND the way her friend darcy guilt tripped her at every chance she got. anyways, because it technically wasn’t badly written i just personally didn’t love the story, i will still give it a 3/3.5

My bad. I thought this was going to be more "MMC realizes the FMC is jaded and tries his best to show her a different outcome to dating is possible in a respectful way" and less "MMC is baffled cuz his childhood crush is not emotionally available and instead of trying to understand her and meet her halfway bulldozes over what she wants because he knows better".
