While this book had a good overview of Shays Rebellion, it was broken up weird making things hard to read & seemed like at times it was jumping around & not fully explaining things.

A really solid overview of a surprisingly important historical moment in American history, nestled between the Articles of Confederation and the ratification of the Constitution.
This is a surprisingly accessible academic text, with tons of colorful quotes from the parties involved. Does a fabulous job of making this peculiar little conflict comprehensible, and holds important implications for those who wish to better understand how we arrived at the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and our federal/state power divide.
