This is a very relatable memoir for anyone who has had, loved, and lost a dog.  Tugged on the proper heartstrings.

Welp, this one had me sobbing during my dog walks while I listened to it! Did I agree with all the choices made? No. Does that matter? No. What matters was the way in which he perfectly describes loving a pet so deeply regardless of the mayhem they create. We are so lucky to share part of our life with creatures who love us so endlessly throughout all of their life. This one is for the wild dogs that have loved me and shaped me. I am a better human for having loved Maggie, Trace, Wynn, and Hiccup (and all my cats and horse…Spirit, Moses, Madeline, Nimbus, and Tonks).

Cute.  Reminiscent of "Marley and Me"  Nothing that profound just a cute memoir about the author, his family, and his rascally adopted pound dogs.
