"Everything in nature is in a state of growth or decay...But you have to decide which state you want to be in."

This has got to be one of the most straight forward "Pep Talks" I have ever read. Kevin Hart has a way of literally saying what you need to hear. I feel like I just had an afternoon seating with Kevin. This book is funny as well as inspirational. It shows you how to push yourself outside of your normal comfort zone to become the best version of yourself.

Read this book if for nothing more than a good hearty laugh.

Applicable Peptalk in 15 points

Kevin Hart’s personality shines through this Pep talk book. Short read that’s digestible and leaves you thinking of how can it be applied to myself.

Good book on taking responsibility for yourself and your actions. Practical advice. I enjoyed the book, and plan to re-read again shortly.

Wasn't expecting the rough language, but it didn't offend me. Just didn't expect it.

Enjoyable straight talk from Kevin Hart! The advice he imparts isn't new, but I did enjoy this pep talk and advice. Sometimes we all need reminding of our worth and ways to get unstuck to pursue our dreams or even just the day ahead of us. A motivating short read!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing this ARC. All thought are my own.

I give it a 4 because I love Kevin heart and definitely agree with his points on consistency and humility.

Buttttt, it is a little hustle culture-esque for my taste. Then again, he’s killing it so he must know something
