I never thought I would see this book with my own eyes! I can't believe they have it at my local library! And the people who got to it before me didn't hack off the color pages! I feel blessed.

It's a great book, every My Hero Academia fan should read it if they can. The only semi-negative is that it was published when the manga was reaching about the end of Volume 8, which means even the anime only fans are further ahead than this official guide. Still, it's great!

Originally published in 2016, this didn't get an English translation until 2021, so information is very old. It's a decent sized book but doesn't explain anything new. The best features are probably the gallery of pictures (some from twitter, others from Jump). Theres good little quips about characters from the author, which is nice.

Not a must buy, but it is a solid information source, which is its goal.

Some typos here and there, but overall a great book! It doesn’t include some main plot points that are revealed in the fifth season, but it’s still super informative and fun to read!

This one’s only for super fans of My Hero Academia. A good stocking stuffer for a young MHA fan, but we don’t really learn anything new. I didn’t find the layout to be engaging, and I found myself skimming through. On the positive, we got to see some of the lesser-known heroes’ parents. If you wanted to see Koda’s mama, her you go.

For anime-only readers, there are a lot of references/spoilers to things from seasons 3 and beyond
like All Might’s retirement, Bakugo getting kidnapped, Overhaul, etc
, so if you don’t want to know the references wait a bit if you’re not caught up.
