Fantasy Adventure and a budding partnership. What's not to like? Good world building and characterization. I'm looking forward to the next book (if I can figure out which it is???).

Gosh, this was really fun to read. If you've read revelations, which you should definitely do before reading this book, you'll know the gist of what is going to happen, but the journey is just so fantastic that you won't care. It sets up some of the things that happen in revelations making me feel like I was a part of a secret. For me, Gwen totally made this story. She is pure awesomeness, and had me rooting for her at every stage. I've heard her story line gets even better in The Rose and the Thorn which I fortunately already have ready to be read. I still love the world of Elan, and I hope there are many many books about it in the future.
