Kind of anticlimactic

There parts of this book that I enjoyed but a lot of it, while not terrible, had me yawning. About 50% in I was just bored and just skimmed through the rest. Of I hadn't skimmed through the rest, I don’t think I would’ve been able to finish it. The climax was anticlimactic. Everything was just so convenient and neatly fell on Marcella’s lap. The ending was just ... I don’t know. This book could have been so much more but unfortunately it just hadn’t been executed well.

Loved it

What a great ending to this series. I absolutely adored it . I'm hoping that there will be a sequel series

Thank god this was the last book as this series went from great to a total train wreck.

The first book in the series had the makings of a really good book, a good sense of action, a ton of sexual tension between the MC and her guys, a bitch of a bully that was perfect for every situation and a clear goal.

Book two. Sigh. It added a complication that I don't think anyone really wanted and then all the plot an worry from book one was fizzled out within the first 40 pages. Not fair. Not fair at all!!
Spoiler I didn't want to see a mate bond with Darius,
I wanted to get more of the fight/training scenes from book one and maybe see the brotherhood used in ways that book one said that the groups were used.

Don't get me started on the next books.
Spoiler I'm British so Arthurian Legend is kind of a core tale you know and learn in nursery but don't just throw that crap at me from out of left field.
It screwed with what the first book promised the series to be and completely turned me off. I read the series because I hate not finishing something, not because I was enjoying it.

I would recommend this series to those that
Spoiler have a hard on for Arthur, Merlin and Knights of the Round Table (even if we never really got to see them in their entirety)
but it will never be a go to like the Curse of the Gods Series. Never.

So disappointing. Just read the first book and the first book only. Maybe the second if you want to see the whole harem have a piece, but I would not recommend finishing the series. The first two books are the only things good about it.
