I really wanted to like this book, but I couldn't match up the FMC's interesting internal voice with her giggly and girlish interactions with the men. Also, I was really frustrated with how easily the plot was distracted from really important issues. It seems like the demonic tainting of the FMC's land and powers maybe should have taken priority over some dates? Days long delays in addressing issues repeatedly? While I really like spice in books, it felt like it could have been balanced better within the plot. Like... investigate or deal with stuff, then go out on the date.

Stuck
I stopped reading this so many times because I got so bored. I love the flip of the chapters and I get that it's like the first book but I really wish we learned more about the guys in the book but hopefully next one if I read it. Anyways I did get actually kind of bored and I kind of guessed from the beginning was going to happen.
