The plot of this vol was basically that terrible episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer from season one when she fights an internet demon. There were some interesting discussions on secrets, but only surface level, and the resolution was confusing, nonsensical, and just sort of magically wrapped up.

It stars with Ms. Marvel on a mission to get all eligible voters in Jersey City to vote-- not my jam, but still darling.

Then it goes on to introduce us to a new villain, a computer virus Doc.x, who came to consciousness online and therefore is a huge jerk.

And finishes with an adventure with Bruno in Wakanda.

This one wasn’t quite the level I have come to expect from Ms. Marvel. I didn’t love the villain of the main story. There were some good ideas in that arc, but I think it could have been executed better.

En serio, un poco de relax a la niña. Que tiene 16 años y está abarcando más de lo que puede.
Hay que protegerla. Y los amigos son la bomba.

I can't really talk about my issues with this volume without spoiling it so you have been warned!

Spoiler This volume didn't really make sense to me. I think if a virus managed to evolve that quickly, it would be unstoppable, and wouldn't be able to be stopped just by 4 people doing a nice thing on the internet if it had already spread so much, and it doesn't make sense either how it can control people since people are very different to technology, and it doesn't make sense that it makes people stronger too. How could it alter people's strength and powers of defense? And if it COULD do that why wouldn't it use those powers more? Like maybe make everyone in a public place attack Ms Marvel at the same time? And what kind of a dumbass makes a virus that can basically do what it wants and can evolve in unexpected ways and can't be stopped? I thought the other issues apart from the main story were ok, the last one with Bruno was sweet, and the art is good. Also- I think this was part of the last volume or something but issue 12 was great and I loved Kamala's makeshift vigilante outfit. Hell yeah.

I think this volume was heavier than other Ms Marvel volumes, but that’s not a bad thing, not at all.

This volume is not as strong as prevoius volumes but Kamala still rocks. This is definitely worth reading if you have gotten this far in the story. There is also a strong anti-bullying subplot and some really touching scenes between Zoe and N.v akia thar make ris book stand out.
