This one was such a let down compared to the last one. It definitely felt like more of a filler volume.

The one issue on voting felt awfully preachy (not that I think it isn't an important issue, I just think it could have been written better), but overall, this continues to be a great series.

5 out of 5 stars.

I still love everything about this series.

Kamala is so great. Zoe, Mike, and Nakia are just the best. So is Gabe. I wish I had friends that supportive.

Even Bruno had some interesting scenes!

I do feel as though the writers were venting a little at parts because of a certain election, but I think its a really smart way to educate American teens and young adults (maybe even slightly older adults too) how to vote, where to register, why voting is so damned important.

This book felt much more grown up and I love it all the more for it.

This was so much fun! It had some nice messages about voting and being nice online.

I'll explain why just a 3 star in my video review. I still love Ms. Marvel. I just had some issues with this volume.

There were a couple elements about this one that I find hard to overlook:

The cover. Is this how a 16 year old should be portrayed, in this objectified power pose?

The lack of my favorite Ms. Marvel artist, Adrian Alphona. I mean, these artists weren't bad but Alphona's art is so lovely and his linework paired with the colors in particular sets vibe to the series that I can't quite put to words. Maybe the change in artist will signify she's growing up so the vibe is changing? I'm unsure.

On the other hand, the storylines covered here are timely, (particularly in a series target towards teens) informative, and important. Since it had been over a year since I read the last volume, I pretty much totally forgot what happened previously. This series seems to be less convoluted than some other Marvel titles in the sense that as long as you know who this character is you can understand the story.

I will happily keep reading the series but be sad if Alphona doesn't return.

Oh wow, this was bad. Really forking bad.

It's a Ms. Marvel comic, so I can't bring myself to rate it less than 3 stars (although if the quality continues to drop like this, that may just be what I have to do), but it really only deserves 2 stars at best. I mean, the Get Out the Vote PSA was just silly and super overdone. And it happened after the 2016 election, so what was the forking point? Let's all compromise and vote in Clinton even though we don't like her? We can't! Voting was a month ago! Argh! So dumb.

The main story annoyed me from the very beginning by refusing to spell docx correctly. It's docx or DOCX or .docx or .DOCX--it is never, never, never, never, never Doc.X--who the hell spells it that way? Have you ever looked at the end of a docx file? It will tell you how to spell itself! It's not hard! Just copy and paste that! But also, the premise was kinda underwhelming. Internet troll who's a literal troll and the internet is bad, horrible place that can be made better but only for a short period of time because people will inevitably revert back to the horribleness? I mean. I can't even, you know?

The only redeeming quality of the book was the final Bruno in Wakanda story which was fun and a little heart-wrenching seeing him figure out what it means to be a disabled person now. Really well done and very tear-jerky at moments. So a nice redeeming moment for the book that unfortunately had NOTHING to do with Kamala. :|

So I do not recommend this book for anyone that hasn't read any other Ms. Marvel stories. This is for people only who are already 6 volumes in and want to read the whole saga. Please, no noobs choose this book as your starting point. You will be sorely disappointed!
