I didn't really care for this one, I feel like the start wasn't the best and instead of being mysterious it just left me confused in some parts with how it was written. I think the idea was good it just wasn't executed well in my personal opinion.

As on bran, Muir just keeps you entertained with the complex riddles and mysteries of the story, the lesbians and the gory action, until finally all the plot twists unfold and everything clicks into place and you are left dumbfounded, grossed out and fascinated by her work. Very interesting story and I definitely didn't see the plot twists coming so all my love to this author for always keeping me on my tippy toes.

Tamsyn Muir never fucking misses. I have been reading some of her short fiction and so far we have three different world surrounding cannibalism, and I hope she keeps it up. She always writes her works so something at the end recontextualizes the whole story and this story was no exception. Always a good time
