Flipping adored this book - Seth and Josie are literally brilliant, definitely an OTP. I related to Josie like crazy and I found myself quite surprised at my reaction to Alex and Aiden. They pissed me off a little bit, to be honest, in this book. It was nice to see them but I just didn't feel so absorbed in their relationship. I was looking at them from an outside perspective and that definitely made me understand Seth more and how he felt.

Josie's jealously definitely made me feel sort of sour towards Alex at some points. Not just about Alex's past (sort of?) sexual/romantic relationship with Seth, but how close they had once been emotionally due to their connection as the Apollyons. Of course there was also the fact that because all of the original people were back together again, including Apollo, Josie was isolated.

However it made me love Josie all the more as she didn't crack under the strain of her vacant mother, dead grandparents, a barely there dad and a push to the side due to Alex and Aidens return. Shes stronger in the sense that she has mentally been able to handle all this difficult shit thrown at her, with basically no one but Seth (when he hadn't fucked off) to lean on.
I definitely feel i've connected to Josie's more mortal personality, rather then i ever did with Alex's, as she is just personally more relateable to me. I love them both though, for different reasons - my bad ass demigods <3

Cannot wait to see where this goes...I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE THE NEXT BOOK COMES OUT IN FEB 2017...fuck :(

I just keep falling in love with this series! The Power packs in all the adventure, drama, and steam anyone could hope for in a JLA book, and then some! Fans of the original series and this new iteration will find plenty to enjoy here, as there are some familiar faces midway through.

I really enjoyed the story itself, which featured Seth and Josie not only adapting to their new relationship, but with their devastating powers as well. New challenges and foreshadowed moments came into play, all leading up to an explosive (and sexy) ending.

Because oh yeah, this book has HEAT. Seriously, it has some intensely intimate moments, but none of them feel excessive and all of them serve to drive the romance between the two leads.

Josie is still the sweet, innocent, in-over-her-head girl I loved, though she definitely adapts to her situation and is coping with the darkness of it.

Much as I loved her chapters, I was even more engaged with Seth’s. It was so engaging, watching him grow and progress into a much more complex character, and I truly need to see where his story goes from here.

I loved The Power, and this entire series continues to deliver everything I want. Bring on the next adventure!

I really liked The Power, but I didn't like it as much as The Return, and there's a reason for that...

ALEX AND AIDEN - I've never really been into them, I'm aware that I must be the first person to say so. The Covenant series is not on my favorites list, I didn't even read the last book, I just didn't see how that would work out for me.

Anyway, on The Power, you get a lot of cute and sexy scenes between Sethie and Joe, I can't really complain about that, cause I love them both together. But one thing that I didn't see happening on this book was action, barely anything actually happens, which made me feel a bit put out.

As I mentioned before, I really thought it was unnecessary Alex and Aiden showing up... and they kind of become the center of attention on the book (AGAIN), which I obviously didn't want to see, because, as I said, I've never really liked either of them.

This is the second book in the titan series which continues after the events in The Return.
Meh.
I LOVE her writing don't get me wrong,  but this one was really slow to start in comparison to the first one.
My feelings for Seth are conflicted,  even though he's only trying to protect Josie.
On the contrary,  I love Seth and Josie together!
CHARACTERS FROM THE COVENANT SERIES COMING BACK!
Damn
That ending.
