Robin LaFevers

Well, Robin LaFevers wrapped up the series perfectly. That is mainly what I could say for this third and final part of the His Fair Assassin series. Annith's story lacked the depth, adventure and romance that the previous two heroins conquered in their stories. Thank you Edelweiss for allowing me to reading this galley.

Much harder to get into than the previous books in the series. A lot of this book was far-fetched (even for fantasy) than the previous two. Almost didn't finish.

A quite satisfactory ending to a great trilogy. A few plot points were obvious but the main one took me by surprise (which I absolutely enjoyed). I'm so happy to have read this series. I look forward to the author's next novels.

It started out promising, but then slowly tanked...I loved the other two, so I was very disappointed. The writing was very repetitive as well, better editing would have helped.

A very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, and my favorite of the three. This one might be a bit more romance than adventure, but Annith does finally get to the bottom of funny business at the convent *and* you get to see devotees from other gods and goddesses of this world. I was again reminded of Lois McMaster Bujold's vastly superior Paladin of Souls, but this was still fun, like Bujold-lite.

My favorite of the three. Perfect ending. Death is pretty awesome. ;)

Wow.

The start was a bit rocky with Annith's narration (aka more annoying than I would've liked), but the story definitely smoothed out & overall became a satisfying end to this trilogy. :D I can't lie, I was all up on Balthazaar/Mortain, because that character's trope is one where my pants fly off. *shameless*

An amazing conclusion to the trilogy. I felt that Annith's story was extremely well written and I enjoyed her reunion with the other girls. The ending felt true to the overall plot.
