As a huge fantasy and litfic reader this book was very out of my remit. And yet I couldn't put it down. It was weird and wonderful and I did not expect a SINGLE plot twist that happened. I loved the discussions on race and sexuality and I ADORED the book about books vibe. I'd definitely read this author again

This was a really fun and interesting thriller. There were so many twists and turns that it had me on the edge of my seat. While I do wish we had gotten more perspectives from other characters I understand why the author didn’t write it like that. I also think this would make an exceptionally good mini series. 

I will note for audio readers that I didn’t love the audiobook narrator. She was mumbling/whispering and I had a hard time understanding her in some scenes.
