I really liked the first book in this series, the second one didn't quite live up to the expectations I had. So, when I picked up this third one, I didn't have high expectations. Which proved to be a good thing, because I enjoyed reading this one a lot. The beginning was excellent, and got me very interested in the story. Six unidentified bodies discovered in a grave on the hills, close to a popular hiking route. If that's not a good way to start, I don't know what is. I'm sure it would have helped if I remembered a bit better what happened in the previous book as this references to that a lot. There are some big twists and turns, especially when it comes to the characters' private lives and they bring a nice added flavour to the story, as does the seemingly unrelated story of two Afghan men who disappeared several years ago. The ending isn't the strongest part of this book, but they did a fairly okay job with wrapping up everything. And of course there's a big cliffhanger at the very end that makes you want to read the next book in the series right now.
