A bit predictable but in a satisfying way. I absolutely tore through this read, it was so enjoyable. I love Adrienne Young’s prose, so this book had been on my list for a while now.
Would recommend giving it a listen.

I thought it was a little predictable but I still enjoyed the ride. Poor Mason though.

I enjoyed the time travel aspect of this book and the mysterious parts of this novel. June's family's curse and who killed Nathaniel. Some parts of the book don't fully make sense, like what happens when June is technically still alive in the past when she says she witnessed her own birth? How is that possible? She can't exist twice. There was also no mention of any of the changes of how different life was in the past versus the present or adjusting to that. Just a few mentions of how the town changed in a couple spots and that was it.
The characters were great, I actually liked Margaret the most along with Eamon. The part that I had trouble with was that most of the books problems could have been solved with simple communication. June was a also little annoying at times, she was a passive character for most of the book. On the other hand, her family dynamic was so sweet and gave all the feels. I loved how close and sweet they were together.
The last part was the curse which never even gets explained and was confusing. It never gets explained where it started or who was cursed first.
