The first half of the book was SLOW! It was also very predictable in some places but then there were other twists that made up for it. Once things picked up towards the back half, the story got very good. I'm glad I stuck it out.

This was hard to get into at first but once I was in I was in! I really loved the characters and how much they sacrificed for each other. The audiobook narration was top tier and I really enjoyed it. This had me in my existential brain about time being a circle and what is time?? This was the perfect intro into autumn and spooky season!!! The writing was beautiful (except for the typo on page 72 per Abby). I want to read more from this author!!

I really enjoyed this. I thought the curse/time travel explanation was unnecessarily convoluted, I wanted more of the love story, and the ending was a bit rushed, but none of that bothered me too much. Some of it was predictable but it was ultimately such a lovely story, I didn’t mind that either. I rarely want a book to be longer, but I think this could have been pushed into 5 stars if she had taken the time to develop the love story more. Definitely recommend this!
