This book was absolutely magical! June Farrow comes from a long line of women with a rare gift—the ability to exist in two worlds at once: their present life and a life from long ago. We follow June on a breathtaking journey as she pieces together who she is, where she comes from, and what she truly wants out of life.

The chemistry between June and the other characters—especially Eamon and Mason—was beautifully written and added so much depth. The storyline was captivating, pulling me in with every twist and turn, and I loved that it gave me characters I could adore as well as characters I loved to hate.

Adrienne Young’s writing is lyrical and immersive, bringing a unique blend of magic, mystery, and emotion to the page. This story felt enchanting, heartfelt, and unforgettable. ✨

“We stood there, four generations of Farrow women, cursed to live between worlds."

This book was absolutely beautiful. I've been a fan of Adrienne Young since her debut and have followed her work since, and honestly, I've never been let down by anything she's put out. But this book just blew me away.

When we meet June Farrow she's mourning the loss of her grandmother - the woman who raised her after her mother abandoned her in an alley as an infant. June knows that the Farrow women have always been different, but it isn't until she receives a letter from her grandmother after the funeral that she really starts to see how different.

There's not a lot I can say about this book without spoiling the entire thing but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading it. So much, that I finished it in one day. I just had to know what happened. June, like the reader, is kept in the dark for most of the book. We are with her as she unravels her past, her mothers past, and everything that makes a Farrow a Farrow.

“You may have ruined my life, June. But first, you gave me one.”

I also thought I knew who the love interest was and who I was shipping, but boy was I wrong. We meet two extraordinary men in June's life and both would be so good for her, but in the end, there is only one. And I just loved the way the story progressed and how it was given to us bit by bit. My heart broke constantly for June and she learned the truths of her life.

I don't know how Young came up with this story but I thank her for it. It was magical in the best way.
