Good little read - bit basic if you follow sports in general, so can imagine its even more so for football fans

I had looked forward to reading this and whilst I enjoyed it, I do feel a little let down. Thought there would be more depth and detail to it. There were some interesting parts to it, but I just wanted more. A very quick and easy read. Easily read in an hour.
The bad thing for me, was that I purchased the kindle version which is useless as the book is not able to read on a kindle, book is putting it lightly, its more like a PDF. It is incompatible to be read on Kindle devices and it can be read on the Kindle app but you cant zoom in to actually read it, only able to be comfortably read on Kindle for PC. So it loses marks for that. Better off buying the print version.

this has some very helpful, insightful info. Not great, but definitely good, especially if you haven't watched a lot of soccer.

Interesting short blurbs about the soccer world that give very good background but not what I might call tips on how to watch football. I was hoping for more specifics on tactics and what to look for to understand how a game is flowing.
I had hoped it would go into more detail on roles seen in the modern game and how other teams will work to country such options. But really only gave the most basic overview
