DNF. Sorry, did I miss something? Beautiful prose alone does not maketh the novel. There needs to be compelling story of which I did not find. I didn't feel any connection to the characters either. Yes, some of the dialogue could be witty but it was all banter and no substance for me. (And what's with the trend towards omitting quotation marks??).
