What a cast of loveable characters, each all so flawed yet so human, and probably what would be considered as the best of us. They made me feel seen, understood, and like I belonged in this great sea of people on earth.

An absolutely beautiful story about the depths of friendship, family, love and devotion. I smiled, my heart raced, I wept and I rejoiced. Sarah’s previous book Tin man still stands as one of the best books I have ever read, with her ability to capture human devotion and all consuming and openly accepting love. With Still Life she has delivered an epic story, spanning many years, and thankfully and frankly with a lot more pages to devour. I have done nothing all day but read this book.. I could not leave the characters alone - 500 pages in 24 hours is not my usual style! Am extremely happy with the LQBTIQ representation again.
Sarah Winman is a master storyteller and I cannot wait to handsell this book.
