4.5 stars Great humorous characters carried the story. Made me pine for Firenze again. Audiobook was fantastic, Winman managed to tackle all the character’s accents to perfection.

I appreciate the fanatsy of cosmic karma and love transcending all, but I'm too old to find it compelling. I also found thd realtive silenece of.the Italian characters (Massimo was Italian in name only) both to be revealing and on the nose.

Trite and twee. A tepid collection of characters whom never experience difficulties that are not resolved within a page, and sometimes a paragraph. Flat, bereft of conflict, where passion is robotic and nothing is ever considered or reflected upon.
