Another excellent novel from Shari Lapena. I can’t get enough of her writing. I was furiously turning pages to reach the end of this book. Better than any thriller movie I’ve ever watched. Actually, this book would make a perfect film. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

DID NOT FINISH

DNF at page 128

The writing in this is just terrible. I've not read writing as bad as this in a long time. How does this have such good reviews?

The characters are all terrible. The plot is somewhat predictable. But because the characters are awful you don't really care who did it or what happens to the spoilt rich kids.

In the end I just did not care to continue reading. Terrible writing, terrible characters, terrible plot. Do not recommend and will not be picking up any more from this author.

This was a good little whodunnit. Really kept me guessing the entire way. The ending was good and I didn’t predict anything lol great concept and enjoyed all the character povs. Definitely recommend.

Lapena does it again! I always seem to fly through her books because they are either fast-paced or fun! This one is both. Three siblings will inherit millions when their parents pass on. Looks like that happens sooner rather than later. When the parents end up murdered, who is to blame? Is it one of the children? The nanny? Or a stranger?

This book jumped between characters frequently, which I enjoyed. Every chapter added some new information which then made me think the murderer was someone else. The characters are all truly awful, had their dirty little secrets, and had no problems with lying to the police.

I did expect more of a twist at the end, but I really enjoyed the ride and had fun seeing all the characters pitted against each other.
