While this book was entertaining, it was also very redundant. It could have been 50 pages shorter for sure. It seemed like we went over the same thing/scenarios over and over again for about 100 pages. Finding out who the killer was wasn’t hard to do.

I think I couldn't get invested in this because there really wasn't anyone to root for: every character is selfish and acting only in their own self-interest. Obviously that is realistic for some families (especially coming from wealth), but I just didn't care who got what portion of the estate or who killed the parents.
