I was not prepared

I knew I was going to get my heart ripped open but I was not prepared for all the feelings and emotions between Oliver and Sydney. I cried so, so, so much reading Lotus. This one of a kind rollercoaster of family/found family gripped my heart from chapter one. Amazing.

This was dark, emotional, spicy, and really beautiful! I was gripped and completely invested in these characters from start to finish, especially Oliver. Despite his ordeal, Oliver was such a sweetheart, and I loved him so much.

Not many books make me cry. Jennifer Hartmann has a way of pulling your heart out and crushing it. This was such a sore topic to write about, and she did it beautifully.
