This is a fictional crime story mixed with magic and special gifts and I'm HERE FOR IT! Alex is just a girl who can see things most can't and does everything she can to drown them out. When a disaster happens, she gets an opportunity to start over and start fresh. She finds herself at Yale to help keep the balance between the magic and houses and little did she know she's exactly where she needs to be. She learns just how powerful and strong she is and her next adventure is to save someone she's learned to love. Can't wait to read the next!!

This book is good! I love Alex Stern. She is such a badass.
The story is very dark at some point. But the mystery is interesting.
I wanted to read on, but I also didn't want it to end.
The sequel is out, so onto the next!!!

Tenetevi Brandon Sanderson, io aspetto Leigh Bardugo. Al freddo. Al buio. Con una tazza di caffè in mano.

This was a really good book, Leigh Bardugo just has a way of making the story flow and have a sense of urgency that makes it really easy to read. There are several really uncomfortable and gross moments that caught me off guard, and people should be slightly wary of that. The writing style is great though, and I loved the atmosphere that Leigh created, as well as the characters. I thought that Darlington, Alex and Dawes were all really good characters and I’m excited to see where their story goes next.
