This was meh. The writing waffled between being decent and awkward. I felt like I was reading a 2000s rom com, but not in a good way. It felt formulaic, and while I’m glad the main characters (mostly) communicated, the conflict was resolved far too easily for my taste.

This one was cute and entertaining. A little cheesy, per the genre, but it wasn't over the top and I never got bored with it. I'll admit I'm a little tired of men in romances having rock-solid abs and huge biceps. This was a good palate cleanser for me after a few heavy reads.

Eu gostei deste livro, mas esperava mais dele, até porque metade das coisas que acontecem já são ditas na sinopse o que fez com que não ficasse tão agarrada a história de princípio.
Por ter uma escrita tão leve, torna-se uma leitura fácil. Este facto juntamente com uma grande parte do livro se passar num destino tropical faz com que este livro seja uma ótima leitura de verão.
E apesar de achar algumas atitudes iniciais da Olive um pouco estúpidas acabei por gostar dela e da maioria das personagens.
