A good nostalgia trip to a book I enjoyed in childhood. I really did enjoy the way that this book was written with such funny turn of phrase. I did notice a little meanness towards people’s looks that was less clear to me when I was young. It does seem to distinguish the characters and add color to the prose but still a little mean-spirited. However, I still enjoyed the little twist at the end where everything works out the way it’s supposed to and they all lived happily ever after.

I enjoyed re-reading Which Witch, but some of the language desperately needs to be updated.

Eva Ibbotson had written a book I absolutely adored as I kid but I just couldn't find it now as an adult. My guess was that I've read multiple witchy/spooky book and they all got mixed in to one big fond memory. The plot sounded interesting but not quite what I remembered but I loved it nonetheless. Such a cozy and fun witchy book. I normally don't like to read about witches but after this I think I simply don't like to read books for adults about witches but love when it's meant for kids. I will most definitely listen to more spooky books by Eva Ibbotson whether it's october or npt

This isn't my favorite book by Ibbotson. While I still enjoyed the elements of the absurd, it lacked the charm of books like "Island of the Aunts" and "Dial-A-Ghost." Still, it had it's fun moments and it is fairly fast-paced.

This was so fun to read!! I was expecting it to be good for a kid’s book, but it was actually just good in general. The perfect light read for spooky season. It was so funny, and even had me laughing out loud several times.

I loved this book, obviously it is written for children however I think its story would be appreciated by readers of any age. There are some parts I found a little odd but when I later on explained this book to my seven year old it was these bits that intrigued him, so I guess the random bits have their appeal too. The characters are fun if a little shallow and I would certainly reccomend this book.
