It's interesting book I enjoyed reading it, however I didn't understand some parts like "white walkers". I do not appreciate talking to much about loins even in jokes and wisdoms, also too much whoring as if people were like animals .. that was badly disgusting.
I was surprised that a brave lord and honourable warrior like Eddard Stark admitted Crimes of tercheary that he had never committed however he said that his life doesn't mean nothing for him .. ! But well, Fu*k the cunning baby king Joffery.

It's obvious that I only started reading this book after watching the TV show, but the level of details to sexual things, and the profanity is just too extreme and too much and I think that the TV show did a really good job portraying the book and included as much of the book as possible, although the lore and the history of the world of Game of Thrones is not detailed enough in the TV show, but also not in the books, making it a necessity to read the accompanying books to the series like (The World of Ice and Fire) and (Fire and Blood)

I loved this book. It took me a while to get into the book, however, due to the complexity of how many characters there are! Yet, the appendix rightfully helped. For some reason I really like the appendix, it's kind of awesome. Anyway, I digress, when I read this series, I feel that I am in the land with the characters, and have personal feelings towards each one. That's how good Martin is in making characters. He also has given women very good characters, instead of portraying them all as lowly second class citizens. I love Martin's works.

Not what I usually read and when I started this book I was not sure what to expect. A quarter of the way in I doubted I would read another book in the series. Halfway in I was hooked and at the finish late last night, I was ready to start the next one.
Lengthy and a little difficult to track all of the characters while reading on a Kindle -- note that there is an appendix at the end that would have been helpful to know about when I started reading instead of after I finished.

Inicio genial a una saga ya clásica. Los capitulos de Arya y Bran se hacen un poco bola por momentos, pero es también parte del encanto del libro. Bring back Ned Stark
