4.5 Stars. The author is hilarious, but has also has a rather unique and extraordinary life. She has made a ton of terrible decisions, but shows it is never to late to turn your life around and live your dream. Can’t wait to check out some of her videos.
Not an easy read. She’s been through some shit and most is from her own choices which she totally owns up to. I only know her from YouTube and TikTok but she seems very talented so hopefully we’ll see more from her.
A quick read. Definitely recommend listening to the audio book that is read by the author. It was a good insight on addiction and the trials that come from it. Along with the overcoming of them.
My very first audiobook! I stumbled upon a video on Facebook of the author reading an excerpt to her baby and when she left it on a cliff hanger I thought “fuck it, I’m bored & I wanna hear her tell the rest of this story”. I really enjoyed it and the last chapter especially had an effect on me, and I think I want to start using affirmations in my daily life now.
I am so glad I took the time to read this. I usually don’t read non-fiction and I didn’t feel like picking this book up and reading it. Not because it didn’t interest me, but because some of what Laura goes through is a little too close for comfort. Surviving hard drugs and alcohol is not my life story, but something someone close to me has been through and fortunately has been sober for 8 years, without a relapse. As hard as Laura’s life was sometimes, I’m glad she clawed her way through it and she was able to turn it into something positive (husband, Baby, career) and hilarious (her creative shows and this book)!

Um, hello, love her... not in a creepy way, and listening to her struggles and overcoming obstacles - and learning new facts.. was amazing.. love love
Absolutely amazing, I hated her and wanted to slap her on the face but also hug her and cry with her, she made me laugh and cry and everything in between.
I guess its very hard to see you gave a wrong turn but its even harder to turn back and find the right path.
I follow her on IG but I will definitely look her up on YouTube and Facebook to get more of her comedy.

I only have a critic to make: her narration voice is very VERY slow, I had to up the reading speed to 1.50!

One of the best books ever!!!! It's a rollercoaster of emotions and it's well written. Almost impossible to put the book down.
