I think this book was so adorable! It was a easy read and I love how the main character just keeps saying her internal monologue outload (I can totally relate!).
Basically this is such a cute book!

DNF at 50%
How just how does this book get such a high star rating
I guess Emelle being funny made me push through to 50%, but if I took that away, would I enjoy the story? Absolutely not. This is a short book and book 1 of 5, and it felt like a drag
We learn nothing about Emelles character where she comes from how she became cupid. Maybe that will come with time, but I can't stick around to find out
The plot was barely there infact i dont think i know what the plot was potentially more character driven, and whilst I didn't mind Emelle, I didn't care for any of the other characters.
I think this is supposed to be a funny why choose, but I unfortunately didn't hit
The world building was very childlike. Please tell me why fae have rainbow skin or fluffy tales no no no this is not how i want to imagine my fae men so I couldn't continue

Big fat meh to this one. I wanted to like it but the original blurb I read didn't mention it being a reverse harem so that immediately lost it points for me.
The guys were all typical muscular and macho and kind of indistinct bar they each had a different hair colour. Evert was the best of the three but even he wasn't enough to save this book.
The plot premise is fine but not what I wanted it to be at all and I found the humour super childish and dull.
Not a series I see myself continuing with.

A new world and new author for me. I’m so excited! Meet Emelle: A sappy, sharp-shooting, loyal Cupid with a bitterness towards romance born from her own lonely existence. That is, until the day she’s zapped into the physical realm by a wrathful, cheating fae Prince. Emelle takes a nasty free-fall onto an island inhabited solely by 3 banished Genfins who are instantly distrustful of the foreign creature who fell into their home and surpassed the magical barriers meant to keep outsiders on the outside. It will take a lot more than Emelle’s quick wit and innocent personality to sway these 3 ‘criminals’ to her side, but Emelle is more than down for the challenge.
Emelle is an endearing mixture of innocent and worldly. She has been all over the human world on her purpose to bring love to those she watches over, but over the years, her loneliness and jealousy at having to watch what she cannot have has made her a bit apathetic to seeing others’ happiness. She is more than ready to see what all this romance business is truly about, and she won’t let 3 moody and distrustful Genfins spoil her once-in-an-afterlife-time opportunity! I would definitely recommend this unique and inspired RH series for those looking for something new and easy to read.
