I received this book for free from net galley in exchange for a review.

I absolutely loved this. Personally I haven't read much of Cecilia Ahern's stuff, purely because I tend to avoid the 'chick lit' but I do love a good old dystopian novel. And this delivered. Too often young adult novels of this kind are poor copies of one another.

I loved Celestine. This sort of reminded me of the hunger games, purely in the sense of a female hero who is actually likeable. Even though for chapters at a time, not too much actually happened in terms of location or much development etc. I still couldn't put it down.

I've since read that this is in development to be a film and I can't wait. I'll definitely be reading the next!

One thing I will add. I don't think I like Art... Just a gut feeling.

Wow what a great read!!
Very fast paced ( after the first half, which dragged a bit) and such an interesting concept.
Only a couple problems: I felt like it was kind of insta-lovey, even though the characters never spoke. Also the beginning half dragged, which is why I read the first half in the summer and then put it down. Also had the trope "girl doesn't know how much a difference she can make and becomes the face of a rebellion", which is kind of basic but I liked how it worked in here.
Celestine had some awesome character growth, along with most other characters: juniper, her mom, etc.
a good, fast paced read. Can't wait to pick up the sequel!!!

This absolutely gave me my reading mojo back! I was completely gripped and it is the quickest I've completed a book in a while. A brilliant Dystopian look at the concept of perfection vs being flawed.
