I found myself apologizing for the book cover when reading because it plus the title, made it look unbearably trashy. Ha. I only know Claire King from my favourite television series Bad Girls. I was hoping for more anecdotes from that show, but there weren't any at all, really. (The title refers to a childhood anecdote.) Regardless, I enjoyed reading about Claire's life. She is honest about events and people in her life, but comes off as a kind person and someone I could have a lovely chat with over a cup of tea or summat.
