I really wanted to like this book more than I did. The characters fell in love immediately with almost no character development, so I felt blah about them the entire time. The pacing was too slow and I can’t get over the thought of intimate relations with a ghost....

A really great story and highly readable book. I plowed through it without ever getting bored.

Not much plot development or character development. So I didn't really buy the ending.

Starts out as a delightful Manhattanhenge confection, then wanders into meditation on relationships, commitment, freedom, mortality, constricted to an ending bound by the rules of its universe.

This book just wasn’t for me. The premise of disappearing and reappearing from Manhattanhenge and not straying too far from the station felt way beyond magic realism. It felt like it could have been shorter.

Goodreads, give us 1/2 stars already, because this one is 4.5.
To be completely honest it took me a little to get into but I think I just wasn’t ready to read it.
This book was a beautiful commentary on love and what it means to live life to the fullest. I was pleasantly surprised by the conclusion of this book. I also appreciated the picture this book painted of New York through the 20s, 30s & 40s. Grand central station was a character of its own!
Overall, I would recommend this book!
