Read cover to cover in a single sick day and it definitely made me less miserable than I was in the morning. What more do you need from a book, tbh?
Emily Henry is especially skilled at writing sharp comedic banter. I also particularly resonated deeply with the refrains on what purpose travel serves to our lives rather than being an act itself.

Emily Henry has done it again! I loved Beach Read and this one is probably even better. Laugh out loud funny and beautifully tender all at the same time. Read it!

I’m a sucker for friends-to-lovers slow burns [cue One Day with Anne Hathaway] and this book was no exception. Henry is slowly becoming one of my new favorite authors. Her ability to go from hilarious banter to hard-hitting gems of truth about Humanity ™ back to banter is effortless. I liked the year-by-year flashbacks but wish they weren’t necessarily in the order they were? Also, Poppy talks about the big fight they had two years ago when, in the flashback of that trip, there’s no fight at all, but rather a total LACK of any communication. Very minute things but overall loved it and read it within a few days so — recommend !!!

Will forever dream of having a best friend like Alex. I LOVE friends to lovers so I knew I’d love this. Basically this is my dream life of going on vacation every year with my best friend until we fall in love lol.
