This was a tough read and I did find it hard to get into. But towards the middle I sped through it, as the mystery unfolded. It’s an incredibly difficult subject matter and toe-curling violent in some places. I did find the writing a little disjointed in places, there were some leaps in the prose that I had to reread a couple of times. But ultimately this was a vivid, disturbing and compelling read.
