This is obviously one of Shakespeare's earliest works, as identified by certain themes, and events that recur in other plays in more polished and refined way, but truly some of the wit and word play in this lesser know work is hilarious. I found myself snorting and laughing out loud at some of the exchanges between the servants. This is well worth a short read.

It’s a fine play. Some fun typical comedy stuff. Two good women parts. It’s more fun to see than read. Also the ending is a real mindfuck and icky.

While this is not my favorite of Shakespeare's plays, I enjoyed the plot enormously. The question of allegiance between friends and love interests is still relevant in today's world. And seeing the bard's early views on women was entertaining! Thank goodness he matured and gained insight into the fairer sex!
