Not as good as the first, but it’s definitely hard to hold a candle in comparison to Twisted Love.
I did see the twist coming, but enjoyed the overall story.
I really enjoy the characters that Ana Huang comes up with in her stores, even the antagonist.
Bridget has to be queen and that means that’s she has one year left of “normal” and one year left with her gorgeous bodyguard. Oo how quickly hate can turn to lust then your life gets turned upside down.
Bridget had to start princess prep and what’s included in that is dating to find the next prince, only problem is that he has to be of royal blood.
This is slicer than the first I could see this being gateway dark romance.

3.4 ish. it was a solid foundation for a plotline but it wasnt my favorite layout. it seemed to drag at some points and then race through crazy plot twists. i liked the idea of this book but not so much how ana wrote it. still a decent read though. a nice break from crazy long and detailed series’s.

I love this series and the author so much! This book showed that two people can come from totally different backgrounds and still make it work. I love how the Princess didn’t care that he was her bodyguard she still loved him and fought for them to be together even if it is going against the rules!
The spice in this book was AMAZING! The type of spice where you think about the book weeks later! 5/5 stars!

I enjoyed this, not quite as much as the first one (Twisted Love) but still satisfying! I spotted part of the twist coming miles off but I was totally taken aback by the second part of it! Very enjoyable spice.
